Tâcherons

Burgundy Spirit

The name Tâcherons for these "cuvées" comes from an old Burgundian tradition. It consists in paying women and men working in the vines per each act, locally called "pieceworkers", they are still called today the Tâcherons.

We are both, lovers of the wine profile and of Burgundy in general.  In parallel with our wines from Burgundy, on Maconnais Terroir, we produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Haute Vallée, near Limoux, where the soil and climate are favorable for these two grape varieties and very similar to Burgundian.

With our vinegrowers partners and each year, we work together on  the plot selections, harvest's date, the vinification and the aging on lees in barrels, which are carefully  into question as every vintage is different!
