Since my birth on May 30, 1965, I have heard all the time about wine and the vine at home ... so much so that I believed for a long time that my father had invented grapes and wine, that these things belonged only to my family ...

My father, passionate about vines and wine, regularly takes me to his vineyard. Of course, the first years, I had more fun running in the vineyards with my dog than working ... but gradually, I began to take an interest in what my father was doing. 

Over time, I learned things and I was able to help him in some work in our vineyard, then in our cellar ... I did all this with great pleasure, yet I never thought that it would become my passion and my business. I always wanted to become a great painter!

At the age of school orientation, things started to get complicated for me ... Son of Dr. Vladimir Kovac, professor and scientist at the University of Oenology in Novi Sad, Serbia and member of the French Academy of Sciences, my destiny was already "written" by my father.

Thus, studies of agronomy in the Former Yugoslavia, then studies of Oenology in France, career began in research in oenology, then the decision to move towards production and make wine! ... Since more 30 years today, I vinify in different wine-making properties as a wine expert and I even have my own Domaine de l'Agly property at the South of France.

My first love, painting, it never left me ... and finally I notice that certain circumstances, sometimes painful, have brought me two splendid passions: art and wine, or wine and art?… it comes back to the same.
